Lisa & Scott Cylinder have been collaborators for the past 30 years, meeting as undergraduates at Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia in 1984.
The Cylinders have and continue to work in many varied styles and materials. The common thread throughout their work has been a hunger to explore, utilize and manipulate a multitude of materials. Often starting with Found Objects, they reinterpret these objects as materials, removing them from their original context.
