Opening my store in Summer 2017 was a wonderful and exhilarating experience, something I’ve been reflecting on a lot this winter. The winter season is a totally different world from the hustle and high energy of a coastal Maine summer.

Winter is a time for travel, for rejuvenation, and for productive creativity. One of my favorite winter activities is going to the Gem Show in Tucson, Arizona. It is where I buy most of the gems I use in my jewelry. I also love visiting the desert – it always recharges and inspires me. The opportunity to immerse myself in this creative space sparks an energy that leads to a flurry of activity and new work. I’m looking forward to sharing my new work and introducing some new artists when I reopen my store for its second season on June 1, 2018. Stay tuned for an opening announcement!
