Cochise Stronghold

Before starting the gem show I'm taking a few days in the Dragoon mountains 70 miles southeast of Tucson. I'm staying in a b & b located in a canyon area that is a natural mountain fortress: Cochise Stronghold. The area is named after the Apache chief who controlled this area in the mid 19th century. I'm surrounded by mountains and the feeling is difficult to describe so hopefully some photos will help. The best I can say is that it is an awe inspiring place.
